Artivism - Drawing for Change

“It doesn’t matter who we are. What we do is who we are.” (Irena’s Vow)

It has been a while since I have realized that the world, left to its own devices, does not necessarily trend towards the future I am hoping for. But then I heard an environmental scientist say ‘The best way to contribute to a positive change is to take what you do, what you are good at, and do it in such a way that it helps bring about the changes you want to see. If you’re a writer, write about it. If you’re a teacher, teach about it. If you’re an engineer, invent something that will contribute.’

So naturally I have decided to draw about it. I am starting a series of art prints that will be sold in open editions, and the majority of their profits will be used to fund initiatives that move this world towards a future I personally want to see. I’d be honored if you join me by buying a print.
