Of all the projects I have ever done, this one is easily my favorite one ever - because of the remarkable person it was done for. This powerful Tigress was made to launch the new brand VOILÀ LES HÉROÏNES, started by a young woman named Danielle who wanted to turn something dark - her battle with brain tumors - into a symbol of hope, light, and defiance. So we worked together to design a silk scarf that could be worn as a flag of beautiful defiance - to give people, as Danielle says, "a poetic way to rebel, shout, and find power through their struggles".

These scarves are the perfect gift for those who need a reminder that they are fighters, they are beautiful and brave, and they will thrive through this - and any other - adversity.
